Linked – China Possibly Hacking US “Lawful Access” Backdoor
I don’t know how many times security experts told law enforcement that building a “backdoor” for them to access encrypted systems would end up with that same backdoor being used by bad actors.
They didn’t care.
Now we’re here. Does anyone want to bet that law enforcement will learn nothing and continue demanding backdoor access to encrypted data? If your business is required to protect private information, do you want to live with this risk?
