One project down early

You might notice the nice little XML graphic over under the webcam pic to your left. Yes, I used RSSify at VoidStar.com to create a temporary RSS feed that you all can subscribe to. For the moment it’s imperfect, it doesn’t get the post titles and uses the first 40 characters of the post as the title, but it’ll do for the moment. Or at least it’ll do until Blogger Pro gets their RSS feed working. I did decide to go ahead and feed the whole entry to you, so please be sure to come and leave comments and what not, ok? Or help me figure out a way to track how many people subscribe to a feed. 🙂

Email subscriptions are the next item on the agenda, but I need to get to sleep!

Interesting link from Chad concerning something called Replay Telecorder that allows you to get recorded messages from Skype. This post by Meryl Yourish, called Yes, I am a Jew is really powerful stuff. It also has left me feeling rather melancholy, and thoughtful today. (Scary isn’t it?) Not that I’m Jewish, nor have I ever dealt with people who hate me for no reason than my ethnicity. But it does have me wondering…

  • IT stress

An IT director’s lot is not a happy one. No suprise here really, network security and virus threats keep all of us on our toes, and if you’re unlucky enough to be the place where the buck stops when it comes to being responsible for this stuff, it’s a pretty stressful situation. On the other…

Could Hollywood hack your PC? – this law, yet again, gives the RIAA and MPAA the ability to use whatever means necessary to block file trading, regardless of whatever potential damage is done to consumers, and makes it next to impossible for consumers to be compensated if they go too far and cause actual damage….
