How not to start off a long weekend

Well I just discovered that my ICQ account has been hacked and I can no longer access it. So for the time being, ignore the ICQ information, and don’t try to contact me there.

On top of that, my return to work on Weds. is going to be met by yet another replacement hard drive to swap out. Given the location of the three offices that this has happened to, and the relative humidity of that area of the building, I’m working on getting our building management people to seriously do something about that. I was sweating just sitting in that office today. I don’t sweat in my office, even with the heat being generated by the server.

We’re off right after work today and while I had hoped to be doing some blogging over the next 4 days, the internet connection situation is up in the air once we reach Gatlinburg. So if I don’t have a net connection, I’ll fill you all in on Weds. or so.

In the meantime, you’re welcome to use the comments and the fourms to continue your discussions!

A little explanation today, as background to the bizarre fax we got this morning. We’ve simply thrown up a fractional T1 between…

Pulled from today’s version of the Langa List could be the answer to something that I’ve been meaning to look at more closely.
