Didn’t I see this in a movie?

I swear my work life gets more like Office Space everyday. We’re planning to introduce, by the first of the year, a new policy which will govern the proper way for the organization to recognize staff birthdays, weddings, child births, family deaths, etc. Apparently, someone has been discussing and working on this policy since the summer, but they wanted to wait until the first of the year to kick it off. I don’t know how many work hours were spent on this but I’m thinking anything more than the equivalent of a bathroom break, was too many!

Personally, I’m thinking it should be opt-in. My birthday is a holiday, the fact that I am not at work for it, is commemoration enough! 🙂

It isn’t quite after midnight yet, but this is a special little message for my wife’s birthday on Sunday. This particular picture is the essence of what I feel about Angela. It’s a picture taken in a beautiful place, on our honeymoon. It shows her being happy, looking classy while also being playful, and looking…
