Snow day

My boss called my house around 6:30 this morning to tell me that the office was going to be closed today, and Angela’s boss did the same even earlier, so we have a 4 day weekend to celebrate the holiday. On the other hand, I spent almost about 45 minutes outside trying to dig my car out from under it’s 1/2 inch to full inch ice cocoon, and part of the tree in front of our house is sitting in the front yard, again from the ice weighing it down.

At this point we’re counting our blessings that the tree didn’t hit either a power line or Angela’s car, which seems to make us one up on a whiole lot of other people in town!

The forecast is for bitter, bitter cold for the next few days, so our 4 day weekend may involve not leaving the house…
