Gridlock
Nothing like some serious snow to completely cripple the city of Columbus, and there’s nothing like having my 4 mile commute take an hour and 45 minutes! Woot!
Yes, on a normal day I spend almost as much time walking between the parking garage I use downtown and our office building, than I do driving back and forth. It’s a beautiful thing, it really is. I’m the envy of all my coworkers who drive in from the ‘burbs. Today, thanks to heavy snowfall all afternoon long, not so much. Even leaving at 6 o’clock, which normally allows for most downtown traffic snarls to be cleared up before I head home, was no help.
Oh well, at least Angela and I both made it home safely, that’s all that matters. We’ll see what the morning brings!
