Upgrading away
Just finished the upgrade to Movable Type 4 on the Child Abuse blog. It seems to all be working, with the exception of the MT-Blogroll plugin, which isn’t compatible. That’s cool, the blogroll as it stands currently still shows up, I just can’t really add to it or anything. Eventually, if the plugin doesn’t get upgraded, I’ll have to figure out some way to add links, and keep it all straight, but that’s for another night.
I’ve also upgraded to Flickr Uploadr beta 3.0, and the release version of Windows Live Writer this weekend. I’m really impressed with Flickr Uploadr, the version adds some new features, like being able to rearrange the order of photos you’re uploading, and improved tags and set features. It seems pretty nice, but I haven’t really uploaded a set of photos yet, so I don’t know how well it uploads!
The next upgrade I’m working on is the Ubuntu desktop, to 7.10. That one is still ongoing, so I probably won’t have much of an opinion on it until tomorrow.
Gee, now that I look at it, this hasn’t been as unproductive a day as I felt like it was. 🙂
