Yes, it’s true, work upgraded from my junky old T-mobile 7730, to a brand new Verizon 8830 -Curve.
It’s going to take some getting used to, I’ve had it for 5 hours and am still reflexively reaching for the trackwheel when I pick it up instead of using the trackball at the center, and even when I do locate that, pressing it in to get the menu instead of hitting the button just to the left of it, which is the menu button.
On the other hand, my memory problems and random lockups should be a thing of the past, mostly. Maybe I can even use Gtalk again without locking it up? 😉

I have the opposite problem – i scroll on the trackwheel when there isn’t even one there. I had to use an old BB yesterday for a new colleague at work and I couldn’t remember how to use the thing – it didn’t help that the trackwheel had lost the feeling of being pushed in to select something so it was hard to remember how to select something.
