Personal, Private, Professional, Public
ByMike McBride April 13, 2009April 14, 2019 Reading Time: 1 minute

Those are the 4 P’s of social networking, according to Doug Cornelius. Go check out his theory of how to measure the information you decide to put online, or not. I think he’s on to something, but also that there’s something missing. Mostly, what I see missing is the idea that you can’t always separate…

WordPress Queston/Complaint
ByMike McBride December 1, 2008September 12, 2014 Reading Time: 1 minute

WordPress allows for multiple authors, and allows me, as the administrator, to limit contributors to only post drafts, that do not get published until I review it, but doesn’t have an option for me to get an email when there’s a new post waiting for me to review? Seriously? Is it just me, or does…

Linked – Don’t Believe What You Read: Social Media Screenshots Are Easy to Fake
ByMike McBride September 25, 2017September 24, 2017 Reading Time: 1 minute

I know I’ve said it many times, but just because someone shares something on social media that looks like it’s true, doesn’t actually mean anything. “All this means that you have to be very careful about what you see in articles or on social media. If someone is sharing an image of a Tweet rather…
