Happy Holidays!

Christmas tree at DCA

I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a fun, safe, and relaxing holiday season. Thanks for connecting with me online, and in person, and providing me some stable connections over this last year. It’s been quite a whirlwind, and I look forward to more adventures in 2015!

Though, hopefully, I figure out a way to manage my time a bit better. Changing jobs right before the holidays really put a dent in planning to create any gifts or anything for some of my closest friends this year, like I have before. Sorry about that!

Here’s hoping you and your family have a wonderful holiday and some great adventures in 2015 too!

For those of you have never had the distinct pleasure of trying to rollover money from a previous employer’s pension fund, into your new employer’s 401(k), be forewarned that it’s nowhere near as simple as you might think it’d be. You Do The Best You Can

Sometimes, as an amateur photographer, you find yourself in a situation to shoot some photos, but real life interferes with following “best practices”. Last week was one of those occasions. While at Disney with my wife’s family, especially our 6 year old niece, we decided to stay out at night and catch the fireworks at…

    Orlando!

We made it back Tuesday night. We enjoyed our stay in Orlando, spent some time at Sea World, Epcot and the Kennedy Space Center, met up with Kevin and Merrin Donahue for some delish Cuban food, took a whole lot of pictures, got rained on pretty heavily, and generally enjoyed some time away from…

  • Ignite 2 and My Mistake

I’ve been holding on to this thought until the videos were up from the second Ignite Columbus event, but since it’s been a week and a half without them, I figured I’d better share it before I forgot, and I’ll be sure to link to the video later. As I mentioned the first time I…
