Weighing security and privacy after Sept. 11

These guys are pretty much saying what I’ve been saying. (Maybe I should be on a panel somewhere?) That all of these wonderful ideas to make us feel safer, would not, in fact, make us any safer. But it would make us all a lot less free. Lots of people are saying they are willing to trade some privacy for some security, but how is it that so many are willing to trade it for stuff that would not actually make us any safer?
