Memo

I’m tired of writing memos. I think I’m currently constructing my 8th memo since Thursday, covering everything from staff interview notes about ethics, to email attachment policy, to requests for funds. You think working in IT is all about the glamour of putting PC’s and servers together, solving huge technical issues, etc.? Nope, most of the time it’s about boring, mundane things. Most of the time, when I do get to do something exciting, like setup a new server, it took half a dozen memos, and a handful of meetings just to get approval to do it!
