Not a nice extension

I finally found some time to look at the upgrades that have been done to CoComments and I was pretty impressed. However the copy of the Firefox extension I had grabbed last week wasn’t exactly a well behaved little extension. It put an icon on the toolbar that I didn’t ask for, and it continually placed itself in the title of new blog posts.

I’m guessing it thinks that is a conversation to be tracked.

While the new version promises to behave more, I still had to turn off tracking conversations on the post page of Blogger. Of course, I could always turn off the automatic mode, but then we’re right back to the biggest problem I have with CoComments, remembering to track my comments!
