Feedly Revisited

A couple of folks sent me tweets or messages asking me to reconsider Feedly, because they had added a “cloud” feature, where you could use the service in a web browser, exactly as I had described in my post yesterday. So I am definitely going to check that out again and see how it fits with how I like to work with RSS. So my thanks to them for reaching out!

In the meantime, the Old Reader blog post has been updated with this little tidbit:

UPD: We have received a number of proposals that we are discussing right now. Chances are high that public The Old Reader will live after all

So I’m going to check out Feedly, and hold out some hope that Old Reader will stay public, and then simply choose the one that makes the most sense for me. Ahh I love having a choice! 😉

    Mark Pilgram also has an Amphetadesk Bookmarklet that will let you subscribe to a site’s RSS feed in one click. That is assuming that the site supports RSS Autodiscovery, which is simple to setup. You just have to add the proper line of code to point to your RSS feed in your Meta tag area….
