If you are in the process of applying for a loan, and setting up an online profile that will let you check the status of your application and make adjustments to the application, let me give you a little advice.

Make sure the email address you give them is actually yours.

Today I received in my email all of the credentials and links to “check the status of your loan request and submit a request for more funds.”

The next time you screw that up, the person receiving the email might not just send a message to the lender, they might login.
