Linked – Google refuses to give up, relaunches Google+

They keep tying to make Google Plus relevant, but it just keeps missing the mark. It’s tough to get people to move from networks they’ve already come to depend on that have the people they want to communicate with on them already.
By focusing on collections and communities, Google seems to be moving away from directly competing with those networks and trying to attract people for different reasons. I use the communities feature of G+, and they are a mixed bag. Some things I like, and others I’m not a big fan of, but it is a super easy way to have a group without hosting a forum or using FB groups, which I’m not a big fan of.
Will this attract more people to Plus? Somehow, I think not. But I’ve been wrong before. 😉
