Travel Tips – New Connector to LAX International Terminal

Saw it for myself this past weekend, the walkway that connects Terminal 4 to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX.

It’s really less than a 10 minute walk, and is so, so much nicer than either taking the Qantas bus if you’re connecting from American to Qantas, or having to actually exit the airport, and walk outside to TBIT, and then pass through security again.

So much nicer.

Since I connect to flights to Australia at LAX somewhat frequently, I’m very happy to know that from now on, I can easily go from my flight from PDX to the Qantas lounge in 20 minutes, easy. It hasn’t always been this way!

Now, I’ve left a few jobs over the years, including some that were remote, which I think is a new challenge for a lot of places right now. And so, I wonder if those yearly, semi-annual, quarterly, video training would be a lot more effective if we also shared specific examples of people who got phished, and how they fell for it?

Like most things in life, it’s one thing to hypothetically know that something could happen, but it’s quite another to know that it did happen to someone we know. Someone just like us. That makes it so much more real in our minds, and it appears to make a huge difference in how users might approach phishing attempts.
