I will admit, LinkedIn is different than other social networks because there really is more information about careers and workplaces, etc. That is what makes it different from other social networks, but just like Facebook shouldn’t only be personal and we should never mention our professional lives, LinkedIn shouldn’t be exclusively professional. I’d really like to know a little about the people I connect with there too.
Besides, when you take the time to post about “keeping LinkedIn professional” you just come off like someone I don’t really want to be connected to.
A little personality is a good thing. 😉
