Ultimate Guide to Cybersecurity for Employees
Well, it may not be everything you need to know, but it’s pretty good.
One thing that jumps out at me as I read it, is how much of it is really dependent on the company providing the correct tools. For example, yes public wifi networks are dangerous, and cross-use of mobile devices for personal and work could lead to data leakage. But if you’re job requires you to travel, they only provide a set amount per month for your own cell phone instead of issuing employees one, and they don’t provide another way to connect to the internet, how else are you supposed to get work done? You seriously need to look at how people work, and what other policies are out there that actually undermine your own security attempts.
